Step 4: Once all the LEDs become lit, let go of the button.

Step 5: Close your printer’s front cover. Then confirm if the drum LED is turned off.

Clean the Drum Unit’s Corona Wire

How to Clean Brother Printer Corona Wire

Follow the steps below to clean your Brother Printer corona wire:

Step 1: Open your printer’s front cover.

Step 2: Take out the drum and toner unit. Carefully place it on a sheet of paper to avoid tone spillage.

Step 3: Then carefully slide the printer’s green tab from the left to right. Repeat this motion a minimum of 6 times.

Step 4: Move the printer’s green tab to its original location at the extreme right.

Step 6: Look for three metal pieces on the toner cartridge assembly’s left side. The metal pieces resemble metal rods and staples that are sticking out.

Step 7: Once you have located these metal pieces, clean them all using a soft dry but lint-free fabric.

Step 8: Return the drum and toner unit into your Brother machine.

After doing this, the issue should be resolved. If it doesn’t, move to step 9.

Step 9: Confirm that you are using an original Brother Drum as well as toner. Using third-party components or non-genuine components could lead to this printer problem.

If you are certain that you are using genuine components and the problem is not resolved, then you need to contact Brother.
