How to Replace the Tray 2 Pickup Roller

Follow the steps below to replace the Tray 2 pickup roller:

Step 1: Turn off your HP printer.

Step 2: Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Step 8: Install the new roller into your printer by sliding the left side in before pushing the right side in. Ensure that it snaps in place.

Step 9: On the separation roller assembly, you will find blue tabs, position these tabs to fit into the metal holes, and push the roller assembly in. Move the lever to the lock position. Ensure that it clicks in place.

Step 9: Close the printer’s right door.

Step 10: Reinsert the Tray 2 into your HP printer.
