What is HP Instant Ink? [Answered] – HP Printer Setup Instant Ink

The HP Instant Ink service is offered by HP and enables customers to get cartridge replacements when their HP printer is low on ink. That means you don’t have to buy a replacement cartridge from any retail store.

To take advantage of this service, your HP printer must be eligible for this service. Although the replacement cartridge will be sent to you free of charge; however, you will be charged for the service depending on how many pages are printed within a month.

When you enroll in this service, your HP printer automatically sends information about the ink level to HP. This allows the company to monitor the ink level and send a replacement once you run low.

Once the replacement cartridge arrives, you are expected to send the empty cartridges back to HP via a postage-paid envelope. HP will then recycle the empty cartridges.

Note: This cartridge recycling option is unavailable in Portugal and Italy.
