To replace the fuser unit on HP LaserJet Enterprise M603, M602, and M601 printers, do the steps below:

Step 1: Turn off your HP printer.

Step 2: Wait for about 30 seconds before removing the power cord from your printer.

Warning: It is important that you do the steps above before you start the process to prevent damage to your HP printer.

Step 3: Lift the duplex accessory a bit and then remove it from the printer completely by pulling it out.

Note: This step can be skipped if a duplex accessory isn’t installed.

Step 12: After unpacking the replacement fuser unit, position it on your HP printer.

Step 13: Install the fuser by carefully pushing the fuser gently into your HP printer.

Caution: Don’t drop the fuser as that could damage it.

Step 1: Turn off your HP printer.

Step 2: Wait for about 30 seconds before removing the power cable from your printer.

Step 15: Take out the replacement fuser from its packaging.

Ensure that you buy the right fuser that is compatible with your HP printer.

For HP LaserJet Enterprise 700 M712 printer, the following are the part numbers for compatible fusers:

  • CF235-67921 Fuser Kit (110V)
  • CF235-67922 Fuser Kit (220V)

Important: Ensure that you remove all the shipping and protective materials on the fuser before installing it.

Step 16: Push the new fuser completely into your HP printer. Ensure that it is well-seated.

Step 17: Turn the latches on both sides in an upwards direction to hold the fuser in place.

Step 18: Attach the left door assembly to the printer.

Step 19: Return the right assembly pin to its original position.

Step 20: Attach the assembly’s left side to your printer.
