For Windows 11

i. Open “Settings.”

ii. Click on “Bluetooth & devices.”

iii. Click on “Printers & scanners.”

iv. Click on “Add device.”

Allow your Windows computer to search for available devices.

You can run the CHKDSK scan via the command line. To do this, type: “chkdsk /f c:” and then press the “Enter” key on your keyboard.

4. Change the Temp Folder Permissions – HP Printer Test Page Failed to Print the Parameter is Incorrect

To change the Temp folder permissions, do the steps below:

Step 1: Press the “Windows” and “R” keys on your keyboard to open the Run command.

Step 2: Type this in the command box: %userprofile%

Step 3: Click “OK.”

Step 8: Choose the user profile from the box labeled “Group or usernames.” This action will allow you to see the permissions of the user profile.

Step 9: Check if there is a checkmark beside the option “Full Control” under “Allow.”

If there is a checkmark, then the user profile has full control and you don’t have to make any changes.

On the other hand, if there is no checkmark, then it means the user profile permission is limited. Therefore, you need to change the permission by continuing with the steps below.

Step 10: Click the button labeled “Edit.”  

Step 11: Choose a user.

Step 12: Check the boxes you want to allow permissions for.

Step 13: Click “OK” when you are through allowing permissions.

Step 14: Apply your changes.

To change the permission for all files and subfolders within the temp folder, continue with the steps below.

Step 15: Go to the tab labeled “Security.”

Step 16: Click on the button labeled “Advanced.”

Step 17: Choose a user (your user profile).

Step 18: Check the box for “Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object.”

Step 19: Click “Apply.”
