HP Printer not Printing on Left Side of Page [Solutions]

1. Reload the Paper

One of the reasons why your HP printer is not printing on the left side of the page is that the paper is not correctly loaded into the printer’s paper tray.

Therefore, you need to remove the paper stack from the tray, and then hit the bottom of the stack on a flat surface. This action will cause the sheets of paper in the stack to align properly.

After doing that, insert the paper into your printer’s paper tray. Make sure that you push the paper all the way into the tray until it can’t go further.

Adjust the tray’s paper width guides to rest gently against the stack of paper but don’t allow the guides to squeeze the paper.

Once you have done the above, print a test page to see if the printer is now printing on the left side of the page.

If it is printing, then the HP printer not printing on left side of page issue has been resolved.

If it is not printing, move to the next solution.

Apart from the above paper issue, paper size is also an issue you need to consider. If the paper size in use is not supported by your HP printer; let’s say it is larger; the printer won’t be able to print on the left side of the paper.

Hence, you need to confirm the paper sizes supported by your HP printer. If you discover that the paper you are currently using isn’t supported, you have to change the paper to a supported paper size. Also, if the paper is in poor condition, you need to replace it as well.

After replacing the paper, print a test page to see if the problem has been resolved.
