1. How to Fix HP Printer Jam in Tray 3 for HP OfficeJet Pro X Series

Step 1: Open your printer’s Tray 3.

Step 2: Pull the jammed paper to the right first before pulling it out of your printer.

Step 3: If you find it difficult to remove the jam from Tray 3, then you should try to clear the paper jam through the left door of Tray 3.

Step 5: Put paper into Tray 3. Ensure that the paper stack you are loading is flat at its edges and the stack doesn’t exceed the maximum height that the tray can support.

Step 6: Insert Tray 3 back into your printer and close it.

Step 7: Locate and press the button at the side of the printer to release the front door.

Step 8: Open your printer’s front door.

Step 9: Take out the toner cartridge from the printer.

Step 10: Lift your printer’s jam-access cover.
