To scan with HP printer on your Windows computer, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Ensure that your printer is installed with the latest “Full Feature Software and Drivers”. If not, then you can download it with this link.

Step 2: Place the item you want to scan on your printer’s scanner or the automatic document feeder (ADF). Your choice is dependent on the type of printer you own and its features.

How to Load a Document or Photo on your HP Printer’s Scanner Glass

To load a document or photo on your HP printer’s scanner glass, do the following:

i. Lift the lid of the scanner glass.

ii. Place the document or photo you want to scan on the printer’s scanner glass. Ensure that the side with print faces the scanner glass while the non-print side faces up. Also, ensure that the item is placed in accordance with the engraved guides on the glass.

How to Load a Document into your HP Printer’s Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

To load a document on your HP printer automatic document feeder (ADF), do the following:

i. Put the document into the ADF tray. Ensure that the document’s print side is facing up.  You should also ensure that the top edge of the document enters the tray first.

ii. Slide the document into your printer’s automatic document feeder until a message is displayed on your printer’s control panel, or a tone is heard. When any of these happen, it is an indication that your printer has detected the loaded document.

iii. Move the ADF’s paper guides to properly fit the loaded document.

Step 1: Ensure that your printer is installed with the latest “Full Feature Software and Drivers”. If not, then you can download it with this link.

Step 2: Go to the App Store and then download the “HP Easy Scan”.

Step 3: Open the “HP Easy Scan” and do the steps discussed in the video below:

Step 4: Place the item you want to scan on your printer’s scanner or the automatic document feeder (ADF). Your choice is dependent on the type of printer you own and its features.

To print with an HP printer on your Windows computer, follow the steps below:
