Step 7: Fill the 4th number for the manual IP address with numbers that fall within the range of 240 to 254.
Ensure that the number you enter isn’t the same as that of the 4th number of the IPv4 address from step 2.
Step 8: Fill the fields for “Manual Subnet Mask” as well as “Manual Default Gateway” using the original information that was written down in “Get the IP Address of your Router – Step 2”.
Step 9: In the field for “Manual Preferred DNS Server”, enter the same information you used in “Manual Default Gateway” above.
